One day trip to Krka waterfalls

Let us show you the beauty we are sure you will love. The river Krka has seven waterfalls, and the best time to visit them is during Spring and Summer when you can enjoy a swim in the river. The hydroelectric power plant under Skradinski buk is the second oldest hydro powered plant in the world and one of the oldest in Europe. It was built only three days after the World’s first hydroelectric power plant on Niagara Falls.

Many of the stone houses and watermills have now been transformed into small museums with various exhibits, and you’ll enjoy a  walk through a network of pathways and wooden bridges and swimming near the waterfalls.

Next stop is the Roški Slap Waterfall, a beautiful spot perfect for swimming and relaxing. Afterward, you can eat an optional lunch in a typical Dalmatian restaurant. You can enjoy selected wines, as well as delicious traditional homemade food like prosciutto, cheese, and bread. Then move on to the Krka River canyon.

Place of departure: subject to agreement, whatever works for you!

About Krka

National park Krka is a diamond of nature, famous for its lakes and waterfalls. It was named after the river Krka, which is a part of the national park and ensures easy access from multiple entrances thanks to its position in central Dalmatia. The park includes an area of 109 square kilometers (approx. 42 square miles) of the most beautiful sections of the river Krka and the lower course of the Čikola river.

The national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value and is comprised of completely preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. The purpose of the park is primarily to serve science, culture, education and recreation, while tourism activities have also been introduced for its visitors.

As one of the most popular Croatian national parks, its beauty attracts tourists from all over the World.
